What to expect

The quaint and picturesque town of Knysna, located along the Western Cape’s famous Garden Route is home to the largest Rastafarian community in Southern Africa, Judah Square. Bra Zeb – short for Zebulon - boasts 20-year-old dreadlocks that reach all the way down to his knees and is the host on this tour where he teaches visitors about the origins of his unique neighbourhood and what it means to be Rastafarian. Take a walk through the colourful streets of Judah Square and visit the community-erected crèche, homestay B&Bs and gift shop before experiencing Mr Mau Mau’s high tea, complete with home-baked cakes, teas and other treats served to the gentle sway of some irie reggae beats.
